Welcome to the University of Derby. My key role is to ensure that our work in learning and teaching continues to meet the high standards for which the University is known, and continues to develop to meet the needs of new generations of students.
We pride ourselves on being friendlier and more supportive than other universities and our International Student Centre has been ranked Number one by the i-graduate student barometer, the largest survey of international students in the world. It provides support, advice and guidance from the moment you start thinking about which course to choose, right through to your graduation.
We are a small university and our students really like this. It means you will make friends easily and your tutors and lecturers get to know students individually.
Our partnership with EFA enables us to bring our experience and expertise in all aspects of learning to a wider audience in the Caribbean and USA which we are very excited about.
We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Derby and to you being part of our growing community of students.
